Budget and Backpacking Accommodation in Fiji

Cheap accommodation can be found in many parts of Fiji. Nadi is a great starting point, with a good range of clean and comfortable dorms and guest rooms. Some of the best budget resorts with great beaches can be found in the Yasawa Islands and the Nadi destinations nearly all have travel desks to help you choose and book. The Yasawa beach bure places are often locally-owned, combining million-dollar views with traditional Fijian hospitality. Don't overlook Robinson Crusoe Island just off the Coral Coast - another fun-filled island destination with dormitory accommodation for low-cost holidays. The main island offers other budget options, or take an inter-island ferry to the northern region, where Savusavu and Taveuni island both offer affordable places to stay, including campsites and budget bures. Fiji has good transport communication, so if you are backpacking around the islands it is relatively easy to get to most outer islands and remote locations. Buses and ferries get you to most places.
