Resort Accommodation in the Lomaiviti region of Fiji

Lomaiviti is Fijian for 'central Fiji' and is the term used to describe the ocean bounded by Viti Levu to the west, Vanua Levu and Taveuni to the north-west, and the Lau group to the east. Islands in this region include Ovalau, Gau, Narai, Wakaya, Naigani and Toberua. Ovalau has some small resorts, hotels and budget lodging. Ovalau's quaint Colonial-style main town of Levuka used to be the capital of Fiji before it was relocated to Suva.

Not all of the islands have resort destinations on them. The most well-known are Toberua Island Resort, Naigani Island Resort and the exclusive Wakaya Club on Wakaya Island.
