Resort Accommodation in Suva

The national capital of Suva, located on the southern wetter side of the main island is not particularly known as a holiday resort destination, as the predominant percentage of visitors are business people, government officials, and diplomats. However, Suva does have some interesting places to visit and many tourists visit each year. They mostly come for one or more days rather than spend their whole holiday here. Whilst most accommodation in Suva is in the form of hotels, motels and homestays, there is one very pleasant resort located on the outskirts in the hills behind the city adjacent to Colo-i-Suva Forest Park. (See the top image). Holiday Inn Suva and Raffles Tradewind at Lami town are hotels with a resort ambience also as they each have a swimming pool with outlook to the ocean.
